Mani Monday: Essie & Jamberry Flare

Happy Mani Monday to you all!  I hope all you haute mama's out there had a wonderful Mother's Day weekend!  I had a great weekend with my mom and family at my parent's lake house in Louisiana. Scott and I definitely thought the weekend went by way too fast!  This Mani Monday is a little different than most.  I combined my current favorite color "Bikini So Teeny", with "There's No Place Like Chrome" (both by Essie) with a fun Jamberry nail wrap.  What is Jamberry Nail Wrap you say?  They are vegan, non toxic nail wraps that last up to two weeks on your hands and a month on your toes!

A sweet friend from college contacted me and wanted me to try out some Jamberry nails. (Thanks Bri!)  I have seen them before but I have never used them, so I decided to give them a go. Today is the first day I have used them so I can't tell you how great they hold up yet, but I can definitely tell you that they were super easy too use!  All I needed to apply them was a bit of rubbing alcohol, a buffer, nail file, tiny scissors, a cuticle pusher and a hair dryer.  When ordering a sheet of Jamberry nails, the buffer, nail file and cuticle pusher will come in your kit, which is nice.

Jamberry Nail Art c/o Brianne Gladney

I have to be honest and say that I'm not big on having all my nails wrapped in art, but I do love how I can easily add a little flare to one or two fingers!  Luckily printed nail wraps are not all that Jamberry has to offer.  There are many solid nail wrap options, along with hundreds of prints, french tips in many colors and even a nail art studio where you can design your own!  If you don't believe me click here to view them all: Jamberry Nail Wraps   If Jamberry Nails really do hold up like they say they do, I would definitely consider using them over the expensive and damaging gel nails.  You just can't beat the $15.00/sheet price!  If any of you would like to place an order, you can do so by contacting Brianne Gladney at Gladneyjams@yahoo.com or visit her site Gladneyjams,jamberrynails.net  I will let you all know in two weeks how my pinky's held up, but for now.. tell me what you think about Jamberry nails by leaving a comment below!  Will you be trying out at Jamicure?

XOXO,
Ashley
