Hello everyone, I've missed you all!  I took some time off from the blog to re energize and focus on some pretty exciting things in the works for Haute Gumbo.  I am learning that having a blog is more than just taking photos of your outfits, writing, and sharing different inspirations to your readers!  It's keeping up with many social media accounts daily, researching, attending events, networking,  and scheduling face to face and phone meetings with potential collaborators.  Whew...it's been a lot of work but SO much fun!  I am beyond excited to be able to share with you the fun ventures  I've been working on very soon!

I also want to thank y'all for continuously reading and sharing Haute Gumbo on your own social media sites.  Every little share and like leads to more followers and readers!  You are all helping HG grow every single day.  I also love reading all of your comments and answering questions.  It helps push me to keep on going!  If you don't mind, today I would love to hear back from you on your thoughts of Haute Gumbo.  Let me know your suggestions, and likes/dislikes.  For example, is there something you would like to see more of?  Is there a certain topic you think I should talk about?  Do you think I should offer more photos and less writing?  Just comment below this post.  I want to make HG the best it can be, and my readers are very important to me!  I appreciate you all!

XOXO,
Ashley

    1. Thank you for the feedback Aunt Karen! Haha I will make sure I leave a note next time for sure! I don't believe I can add music to HG because of my blogger platform but I will check into it =( It would make a nice touch though! Not sure what you mean about the months! Reply and explain again please m'am! I love the wordless post idea... will try to do some of those! As for age group, most of my readers range from 18-35. I have tried to stay on topics that cover all age ranges like: 1. Mani Mondays 2. Trends 3. Shoe crushes 4. Fashion experieces 5. Products (6. Hair and makeup tutorials) ...my outfits are of my own personal style and I want to stay dressing age appropriatly =) I will try and think about how I can try and target all ages groups with styling. Thanks for always reading and commenting!! Love you!

  3. Hi Ashley ~ I love your blog and I especially love this look - it's a great mix of prints! I may be a nosy follower, but I love reading your comments from your sweet Aunt Karen! If you are interested, here is a music player that you can power with blogger! http://scmplayer.net/ I'm sure there are others out there, but this one was very easy to install & worked well for me in the past! I do love reading your writings...I think it helps the readers feel more connected to you. I'm a La. ---> Dallas girl as well! It's nice to follow you and I'll be a big fan of your work~I'll pin and tweet away! That's all ~ have a great week! Dawn :-)

Thank you so much for your sweet comment! You really made my day! My Aunt Karen is such a fun and free spirited Aunt who lives up north and I rarely see her! Even on a bad blog day posts, I can always count on her to leave me some love! =) Thank you so much for being nosey, because you just saved me a lot of research to find a player! I love music so I think I will try it out. Glad to know another LA---> Dallas gal! What part of LA are you from?! I just checked out your blog and website and love all of your jewelry! 2. Hi Ashley ~ Oh good...I am so glad that I could help! That's so great that your Aunt can keep in touch with you through your blog! Thank you so much for the compliments and for checking out my site. I just launched 2 months ago and am very excited about how things are going! I am from Thibodaux and my husband is from Labadieville. We both still have family there, so we try to get home at least twice a year. It's getting harder and harder to do that though....it's a very boring 8 hour drive! Have a great day Ashley and thanks again for the nice compliments! XO ~ Dawn
