Good afternoon everyone!  Spring is officially here, but for some weird reason I can't get away from cold weather!  Am I the only one who is blasting the heat in my car in the mornings and late evenings?  I'm totally addicted to my hiney warmer in my car by the way...best invention ever.  Just saying!  Since we are still in weird weather, my outfit today is an example of how to dress for in between seasons.  Rule of thumb, only show more than one body part at a time!  Since I'm showing off some leg in a mini, I wanted to make sure I stayed a bit covered up on top.  I just love a good wrap or shawl! They are effortlessly chic, they come in a zillion colors and you can just throw them over you and bundle up before you step out for the evening.  Just FYI, you can find great wraps at Target!

I have also been discussing Spring trends once a week here on Haute Gumbo.  The spring trend I want to fill you in on today is the bootie trend!  To master the bootie trend, make sure you choose something with straps and cut outs like you see me wearing in my photos above.  Wear them with cute dresses or even throw them on with denim.  SO many options!  Let me know if you will be trying this bootie-licious trend this season by leaving a comment below.  I love hearing from you all, so if you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask!  Thank you so much for reading!

XOXO
Ashley

My husband, Rayce, and I are planning to move more south in this next year, and our focus is Dallas. So I may be coming to you for Dallas highlights and advice in the future!
